I just wanted to tell you that I was so sorry to read in the "Bee" that Dr. Rose had passed away! He was our family doctor from 1970-1989. No other doctor was like him ever again. He cared so much about us all. He delivered my two children and saved my life when I needed to have breast cancer surgery. No other doctor has ever been as caring. I needed to have a doctor closer to home when I left in '89, and the doctor/patient relationship was never the same again. He was an inspiration and I loved reading about his life which made him even more interesting than I ever knew. You were lucky to be his daughters and know that he was loved by so many people. It was so ironic that he had to fight so many battles over chronic pain meds, as he wouldn't prescribe an aspirin if he thought a natural remedy would work! I loved him for that. In the end, he proved his beliefs and came out on top!! I'll always remember him. Sincerely, Linda Knight
